Attendance & Registration

Registration

Registering to Attend Our Schools

During the school year, please register your students at their school of attendance as soon as possible. If you are unsure of your school of attendance, please contact the Attendance Department at 920-906-6524 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. When registering, it is important that you provide an original birth certificate (for viewing purposes only) and proof of residency (rent receipt, lease, utility bill, etc.). Parents of kindergarten students are also asked to bring along their children's immunization records.

By registering as soon as you have determined that you will be attending one of our schools, it allows us to properly schedule buses, assign teachers, and provide any other services that might be necessary. It also allows us to provide the individual and personal attention your child deserves.

From mid-June to mid-August, Fond du Lac School District’s elementary schools are closed for the summer. To register your child, you will need to wait until the elementary school staffs return to their buildings in mid-August. You may contact the Administration Center at 906-6500 and they will provide you with the date that elementary schools will reopen for the new school year.

Open Enrollment

Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live.

Non-residents of the Fond du Lac School District can apply on-line at:

http://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment?

In-district applications can be obtained at any elementary or middle school in the District. Do not use the on-line application unless you reside outside of the Fond du Lac School District.

Questions should be directed to Wendy Burgess 920-906-6524.
