  • When should our children be dropped off or walk to school in the morning?

  • Where should I drop off my children in the morning?

    • Please drop them off in the parking lot on Linden Street.  Students will then walk to the playground via the sidewalk on the south side of Riverside School.  Please do not drop them off in front of the school as busses and day care vans need the lane open by the curb on Linden Street.

  • What time does school end each day?

    • Our learning day ends at 3:15 p.m.  We ask that all students are picked up by 3:25 p.m., as we only have supervision until then.

  • Where should I pick up my children at the end of the day?

    • If your child is enrolled in EC/4K, they should be picked up from the parking lot on Linden Street.

    • If your child is enrolled in K-5th grades, then they should be picked up in our “Greet and Go” location which is adjacent to our Gym.  This parking lot is off of 9th Street.

    • The State of Wisconsin allows up to 10 days of school missed.

  • Can we send birthday treats with our children to celebrate with their classmates?

    • Yes, we ask that the treats follow the guidelines of our healthy snacks list which is located in our school handbook. You may also consider donating money toward your child purchasing classroom supplies off of our Birthday cart.

  • How do I know if school is called off due to inclement weather?

    • You will receive a call from our School Superintendent, Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, to let you know that school is being called off.  Also, listen to your local radio stations; watch any of the Green Bay/Milwaukee news channels or go to our school district web page where a message will be displayed at the top of the screen.
