The Fond du Lac School District has an enduring tradition of Pride, Achievement and Growth. We take great pride in ensuring high levels of learning for all students as we prepare them for college and career. Are you interested in joining a school district that employs the most talented staff in the area and firmly commits to continuous improvement? Your opportunity to become a member of the Cardinal Family awaits!
The journey begins with exceptional early childhood and four-year-old kindergarten options that begin to build a solid educational and social/emotional foundation. Our 10 elementary schools have high levels of student engagement as kids learn to read and later read to learn. Best practices abound in all elementary content areas and extra-curricular options as students transition to middle school. Block scheduling provides the opportunity to dig deep and wide into curriculum and a planned exploratory program opens the eyes of our middle school students to the multiple pathways that are available in high school and beyond. Fond du Lac High School offers over 40 courses for college credit and over 50 career technical education courses. Add nearly 90 extra-curricular and club offerings including music, athletics, and theatre, and you quickly see there is something for everyone! Newer endeavors include the Career Construction Academy which is training students for trade jobs that are in demand now and will be well into the future. Fond du Lac High School also has Project Lead the Way curriculum dedicated to students whose interests are in the biomedical sciences, engineering and computer science.
The District employs a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) framework that leads to safe, respectful and responsible learning environments at all levels. Every school in the District also has an intervention/enrichment block each day where students get the needed support or additional extension needed to succeed in a personalized approach. That detailed personalization and project-based learning are cornerstones at our STEM Academy and STEM Institute Charter Schools as well. Fondy Pride emanates throughout our District and community and we welcome you and your family to join us!
