General Information
Various multi-media equipment including cameras, projectors, instructional television broadcasting system, and fiber optic network with voice, data and video transmission, as well as over 3,000 computers are installed, maintained, serviced, integrated and supported by this department. Computer hardware and software acquisition and the related staff development are also responsibilities of this department. It houses the Library Processing Service which maintains and supports the Alexandria Library System for all district library materials. Data processing and digital information management for student records, food service, human resources and financial operations are important components of this department’s operations.
