to Paulene Mueller, Fine Arts Coordinator for the Fond du Lac School District. A live concert fundraiser held in Spring 2016 at The Shack was spearheaded and coordinated by the band in celebration of the release of their new CD.
The proceeds from the concert were earmarked for use in the "Strike Up the Band" scholarship fund. This fund was established over 10 years ago, through the initiatives of Leadership Fond du Lac, Mike's Music, the Fond du Lac School District and many area musicians and bands. The scholarship fund’s primary purpose is to help ensure that young students will have no barriers to participating in a musical experience. Additionally, it is used for maintenance and repair of musical instruments that have been donated to the school district.
