Child Development Days - September 21 and October 19

Children who will turn 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2019, are invited to participate in this free preschool developmental screening sponsored by the Fond du Lac School District, Fond du Lac Birth to Three, ADVOCAP Head Start, and Agnesian Health Care. Your child will be encouraged to participate in a play group where social, communication, motor, and early learning skills will be observed. Hearing and vision will be screened as well.

Child Development Days are being expanded on a trial basis from a one-time event in January/February to being offered various times at your neighborhood schools throughout the school year. At these screenings, parents/guardians will be provided with the opportunity to receive information on growth and development of children ages 2 through 4, and on the services available in the community for children of this age.

Upcoming screenings will be at Pier Elementary School, 259 Old Pioneer Road on Friday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and at Parkside Elementary School, 475 West Arndt Street, on Friday, October 19 from 12:30 – 5:00 p.m. Please call the Child Development Day Registration Line at the Fond du Lac School District, 906-6525, and talk to Tammy Hidde to schedule an appointment for your child. Screenings take approximately one hour.

If your child will not turn 3 years old by September 1, 2018, and you have any concerns or questions about his/her development, please call the Fond du Lac Birth to Three Program at 929-3919.
