Participate in Winter Walk at Some of Our Schools

Winter Walk to School Day, similar to the Walk to School Day in the fall, hopes to address the growing concern with lack of physical activity for our children as well as to increase awareness in protecting our environment. Unlike the Walk to School day in October where it is a specific day, schools are free to select a date in February that works best for their school calendar of activities. The Winter Walk hopes to address the fact that over the last 30 years, the percentage of children walking to school has declined.

The Fond du Lac School District encourages students and parents to review the list below and take the opportunity to participate in Winter Walk to School Day. Schools will also be awarding incentive prizes and/or conducting raffle drawings for students who choose to participate with prizes made available through East Central Safe Routes to School.
