Information regarding the 2018 Fond du Lac School District’s Summer School program offerings will be available on the District website (fonddulac.k12.wi.us) under “Programs>Summer School” beginning April
1. There will be two links on the website: one will take you to the brochure and another link will take you to the online registration form. If you are unable to register online, brochures and registrations forms will also be available at the schools and in the District’s Administration Center at 72 W. 9th Street. Registration deadline is Friday, April 27.
The
Summer School program runs Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 30 with
enrichment classes being held Monday through Friday mornings at various
schools. Elementary times are 8:00-11:30
a.m. with many classes offered twice during that time frame to enable students
to take two different classes. Note:
Remedial math and reading classes for students in Grades K-5 are by teacher
recommendation only. Forms for remedial classes have already been sent home
with students. These classes are offered at Chegwin, Evans, and Riverside at
the same times as the elementary times listed earlier.
For those
elementary students needing transportation from Parkside to Evans, there will
be a shuttle bus available from Parkside to Evans with the pickup time at 7:25
a.m. and return time at 12:00 after children have had lunch. Free breakfast and
lunch are offered to anyone under age 18 at all the participating elementary
schools.
Middle
and high school enrichment classes are being held at Fond du Lac High School,
and Sabish and Theisen Middle Schools from 8:00-11:40 am. Please refer to the brochure for various
offerings, grade levels, and locations. Please contact your child’s teacher for
information regarding remedial or make-up classes at the high school for Grades
6-12.
For
secondary students needing transportation, there will be a shuttle bus available
to pick up and drop off at these locations:
Sabish pickup 7:10 a.m./drop off 12:20 p.m.; Theisen pickup 7:20 a.m./drop
off 12:10 p.m.; Woodworth pickup 7:30 a.m./drop off at 12:00 p.m. A free
breakfast snack is offered at the high school.
