Bio for KEVIN DEERING

Hello Fond du Lac Community.  I am heading into my third year for the Fond du Lac School district and this year I am fulfilling the roll of Athletic Director and K-12 Physical Education Coordinator.  In my first two years I was an Assistant Principal at Fondy High.  I feel very fortunate to have this new opportunity and look forward to working with all students, athletes, staff, families, and the community. My wife is also a member of the Fond du Lac School District and I am a proud father of two.  I have a 4-year-old son and a 1-year-old daughter.  I love my role in the district and cherish every day that I get to help change the lives of the students and athletes in our school district and prepare them with the tools they will need to be successful after high school.

 

I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.   During my years at Oshkosh I was a member of the Men's Track & Field Team and achieved the NCAA Div. III Decathlon National Champion.  I earned my master's degree in educational leadership from National-Louis University.  I am excited and honored to be part of the Fond du Lac School District for the 2012-13 school year.
