Music Changes Lives - Music in our schools month logo It's Music in Our Schools Month!
March is Music in Our Schools Month - a time to celebrate  music education in schools and communities with concerts and classroom activities that show how “Music Changes Lives,” the theme of the 2020 observance.  The impact of music education on the lives of students is evident in its social-emotional effect on young people and how they interact with the world around them.

Youth Art Month graphic It's Youth Art Month!
Youth Art Month is a celebration of the visual arts. The theme for this year’s month is “Take a Journey through Art.”
Middle and high school student artwork is on display at the Fond du Lac Public Library Express Branch and The Gallery & Frame Shop. 
At the District’s Administration Center, art from 4K students greets visitors in the lobby. And this quarter, the artwork featured in the Glaeser Gallery is from Riverside, Rosenow, Waters, Lakeshore and Chegwin students. Learn more about Fine Arts in our District.

Kindergarten student coloring Fond du Lac School District Announces 4K Open Houses and Registration Schedules

The Fond du Lac School District will again be offering a half-day, 4 year-old-kindergarten (4K) experience. Children who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2020, are eligible to attend.  

Currently, there are classrooms at the following District elementary schools: Chegwin, Evans, Pier, Riverside, Rosenow, and Waters. Many families also access 4K at our community partner sites, and children are eligible to attend 4K at any of these locations for no charge.

calendar available for 2020-21 Revised 2020-2021 School Year Calendar is Available!
This calendar provides a snapshot of inservice, conferences, and holidays during the 2020-21 school year. It was revised 1/24/20 with updates to the Early Childhood (EC) and 4K programs in October 2020 and February 2021.
 
Also as a reminder, the most current version of the 2019-20 calendar is the one with the revision date June 10, 2019.  The most significant change in that revision is that WE DO have school on Monday, February 17, 2020. View our Calendar webpage with the files. 
 
My Stop App Helps Parents Track Buses

Fond du Lac School District parents can now use the free My Stop app to determine the location of their child's school bus. The My Stop app displays the school bus's location on a map, as well as provides the estimated time of arrival to a specific student's bus stop. The location of the bus is automatically updated every few seconds to accommodate any delays. Click here for additional information.
