District Summer Food Service Program
Summer Food Service graphicThe Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well. 

The following locations serving these free meals over the summer and their corresponding dates and times of service are: 
  • Pier and Rosenow Elementary Schools:
    • Weekdays from June 14 to July 2, 2021
    • Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. 
    • Lunch 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Fond du Lac High School:
    • Weekdays from June 14 to July 2, 2021
    • Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.
  • Theisen Middle School and the Johnsonville Boys and Girls Club:
    • Weekdays from June 14 to August 20, 2021 (closed July 5th)
    • Lunch 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
    • Snack time from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. 
  • Theisen Middle School - Weekly Meal Packs
    • Students and local children are able to access weekly meal packs on a pick-up basis. There is no need to pre-order. Families can pick up the weekly meal pack on the following days:
      • Monday, June 28, 2021
      • Tuesday, July 6, 2021
      • Monday, July 12, 2021
    • Pickup will be from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Meals will be handed out on the west side of the building on the curb.
Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination during the course of meal service.
