Election Details
An election is to be held in the School District of Fond du Lac on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.

Office Terms
The term of office for school board members is three years, beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026, and expiring on April 22, 2029. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.
For Candidates
A completed Campaign Registration Statement, a Declaration of Candidacy, and nomination papers must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk / Superintendent’s Office at 72 West Ninth Street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Nomination papers are required; the first day to circulate nomination papers (100 signatures are required) is December 1, 2025, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk.
Nomination papers may be picked up at the Fond du Lac School District office located at 72 West Ninth Street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Primary Election
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Additional Information
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote in this election. If you do not have a photo ID, you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

Candidate Paperwork
Please review the Guide for Candidates if you plan to run for an open Board of Education seat.
You will need to complete and return a CF-1L Campaign Registration Statement and an EL-162sd Declaration of Candidacy, and Nomination Papers with at least 100 eligible signatures to Halle Soczka at the Administration Center (72 W. Ninth Street) by the required deadline.
The deadline for submitting candidacy paperwork for the 2026 Spring Election is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. If you have any questions regarding the election, please contact Halle Soczka.
Non-Candidacy
If a current incumbent decides not to run for their seat in the upcoming election, they must fill out a Notification of Noncandidacy by Friday, December 26 at 5:00 p.m.
