We are pleased to share information regarding the Fond du Lac School District's Four-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) program information with you. We look forward to welcoming your family and supporting your child as they begin their educational journey!

February 16, 2026 - Earliest registration date
Any paperwork submitted prior to this date (including forms completed at a parent meeting) will be officially dated February 16, 2026.

March 23, 2026 - last day to be considered for an initial full-day placement
If applications exceed available spaces, a lottery system will be used on this date.

Registration meetings are not required but recommended if this is your first child attending our 4K program.

Children who turn four years old on or before September 1, 2026 are eligible to attend 4K for the 2026–2027 school year.

There is no cost to attend the district’s 4K program at any district location. Families who choose an offsite childcare location and require care beyond the 4K program hours may incur additional childcare fees charged directly by the provider.

*Full-day Head Start requires an additional application through ADVOCAP in addition to the district registration. The Head Start program is currently located at Sacred Heart.

Space is limited in all listed full-day 4K program sites.
