The Fond du Lac School District's Board of Education committed $5.3 million from the District's fund balance to construct Cardinal Stadium. Cardinal Stadium serves as a multipurpose learning space on the campus of Fond du Lac High School. Our partners for the project were Excel Engineering and C.D. Smith Construction.
National Exchange Field at Cardinal Stadium had a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 16, 2023. The first event hosted at Cardinal Stadium was on Friday, August 19, 2023.
Cardinal Stadium has a brand new running track in addition to the multipurpose field and one of the state's best field event areas. Cardinal Stadium seats 3,500 people and has a standing room capacity of over 4,000. National Exchange Field at Cardinal Stadium has an RGB lighting system that provides a multitude of lighting options.
