Parents, guardians, educators, grandparents and community members are invited to join Drug Free Communities of Fond du Lac County (DFC) on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 for the FREE event, Hidden in Plain Sight: E-Cigarettes & Other Drugs-What Every Adult Should Know. Ebony Vision is hosting "African Americans and the VOTE" on Feb. 29, 2020, as part of their 2020 Black History Program. The event is from 2:00-4:00pm at the Fond du Lac YMCA. Learn more in this flyer.
Keynote Speaker Ms. Katie Gordon is a national organizer of Nuns & Nones, an alliance of spiritually diverse millennials, women religious, and key partners working to create a more just, equitable, and loving world. In this role, Katie helps build, support, and resource their growing network of collaborators—she is a veritable bridge-builder across traditions and generations.
Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts is happy to announce its newest arts program: Studio 51! Studio 51 provides classes for kids and families in the Fond du Lac community. Each week is a different class: from crafts, to poetry, singing, acting, and so much more! Explore the arts each Saturday at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts!
For all the moms and dads looking to get their youngsters out and about in Spring, we have a great recreation soccer program to get them started. This program seeks 4-7 year olds and offers them an active 1 hour a week of focused fun activities to bolster beginning soccer skill and also give them scrimmage fun time each week too. CELEBRATE commUNITY 2020 on Feb. 15, 2020

United for Diversity hosts this enriching event to CELEBRATE our differences, EDUCATE the community, and ADVOCATE for inclusion and diversity issues/awareness important to all our lives. It will be on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, from 11:00am-3:00pm. This year marks UFD's 13th anniversary of bringing this family friendly event to the Fond du Lac community. Starting at noon, you can enjoy live entertainment, free ethnic food sampling, children's activities, a scavenger hunt, and much more family fun. Learn more about this event on their website.

Citizen's Police Academy by the Fond du Lac Police Department Feb. 25-April 28, 2020

Are you a City resident? Do you want to go behind-the-scenes with the Fond du Lac Police Department? Apply for their Citizen's Police Academy starting February 25th. The class fills up quickly and there are limited spots. Applications are due by February 14th. They meet once a week on Tuesday nights from 6-8 pm for 10 weeks.
