The Equity department develops, implements and evaluates district-wide efforts to achieve educational equity. In collaboration with community partners we provide leadership and strategic direction focused on ensuring that historically marginalized student populations have the appropriate support needed to access and experience high levels of achievement. In addition to developing and coordinating professional development opportunities for teachers, administrators, and support staff, this department also provides guidance for the District Equity Leadership Team (DELT) and Student Equity Leadership Teams (SELT) . English Language Learning (ELL) support and services are also housed in this department.
